WWhat is the structure of the Earth system, the planet we live on? JAMSTEC has explored deep sea by using the research vessels and vehicles including "SHINKAI 6500" and "D/V CHIKYU"and studied the past, present future. Furthermore, we will figure out how the Earth has transformed itself into a habitable planet for human beings, and how it will become in the future. In this section, we introduce the activities of JAMSTEC by showing deep sea creatures, various images and models, etc.
